Town Council Meeting Dates
The full council meet on the third monday of every month with the exception of the month of August.
There are 12 council members and decisions are made by a majority vote. Meetings are held in the Lower Hall of the Town Hall, High Street Northallerton and commence at 7:00 pm.
We also have three sub-committees
There is generally a session on the agenda for public particpation, where persons can ask questions of the council, but they may not necessarily recieve a response.

Sub Committees
Amenities Committee
Is responsible for the recreation and open spaces of Northallerton and has a committee structure of 7 members.
The Town Hall Management Committee
Is responsible for issues relating to the maintenance and facilities of the Town Hall building and has a commitee structure of 7 members.
Finance and General Purposes
This committee largely discusses financial and personnel issues, and has a committee structure of 6 members.
